Alison Cooke

Alison Cooke

Company Director

Ali is our Company Director with over twenty years’ experience in senior marketing, communications, event and brand management, strategy, public relations and business consultancy. Ali has worked with NGOs internationally (in the Middle East, Asia Pacific, and Africa) and is committed to life-long learning, completing her Honours in Theology. She is that rare combination of analytical and hospitable: Ali looks for the most efficient way to get things done, and she will make sure that you are nurtured along the way. For us at Wild Hive, work isn’t something we do, it is part of who we are, as we grow and flourish in our relationships with each other—our communities and organisations, the world around us, and the Divine. It is this perspective that allows us to break down the traditional work/life barrier, and Ali has cultivated a thriving team who are quick on their feet and flexible. Ali’s ability to bring out the best in people is perhaps most evident in her greatest achievement: her four children. While leading her Wild Hive of coffee-loving people persons , Ali can also be found sending gift baskets to teachers, giving Krispy Kremes to fire fighters, and showing kindness and hospitality to those who need it most. She enjoys long drives to the middle of nowhere to channel her inner country bumpkin, and can’t understand why her wardrobe is so disorganised.

Sherina Swan

Sherina Swan

Head of Sales

Sherina is Head of Sales, leading our Media Sales team. Her expertise—and being superhumanly organised—means she’s perfect for teaching her team the ropes. Sherina has worked in sales, marketing, fundraising and account management for over 20 years across IT, Recruitment and Non-Profit sectors in Sydney. She studied at Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma, USA where she gained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Sherina has also completed postgraduate TESOL studies at Macquarie University. One of Sherina’s great passions, informed by living in Botswana, Sri Lanka and Zambia, is to work towards alleviating poverty and bringing about justice, dignity and hope around the world. And Sherina can juggle. Not literally. Like so many mums, she manages to keep work, life, the universe and everything chugging along smoothly. Sherina loves travel and loves coffee. If you can combine the two, she’ll be there faster than you can say almond cappuccino.

Lisa Ferguson

Lisa Ferguson

Communications and Events Coordinator

Lisa is our Communications and Events Coordinator embedded at Overseas Council Australia and brings significant experience in marketing, events and administration to the role. She has also worked in recruitment and administrated a large church in the Blue Mountains, which means Lisa knows how to motivate and organise people, and ensure each unique event is memorable. Her secret to success is being task-driven and feeling the sense of satisfaction that only crossing off items on a list can bring. Lisa treasures relationships. Her husband, her children and her friends are what is most important to her. Each person has their story to tell and Lisa loves hearing them. And this is key to her role, too: building relationships with clients, donors and supporters. Lisa spends her spare time reading, critiquing movies, and vicarious dancing (aka watching Dancing with the Stars) with a cuppa (tea, not coffee. Coffee is gross)!

Natashja Byron

Natashja Byron

Media Sales

Natashja is a qualified counsellor through the Australian Institue of Family Counselling and has joined Wild Hive to broaden her skills in marketing, media and public relations activities. Tash is a creative problem solver who pursues her professional goals energetically. Tash is a real asset when building relationships with donors or clients…. I mean, between you and I; Tash can talk the legs off a chair so she knows how to connect donors with the mission of an organisation and she does it well.

Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva

Client Manager and Media Sales Representative

Daniel is our Adelaide-based Client Manager and Media Sales Representative and, as a joyful and open people-person, he’s always ready to support client needs. Daniel has 15 years’ experience as an HR Coordinator in his native Brazil, a Business degree and a postgraduate qualification in People Management, so he makes sure his work puts people first and he loves a good client visit. Two things that Daniel prides himself on particularly are his perseverance and his supportive attitude. He’s a natural encourager and enthusiastic through to a project’s end. Daniel’s passionate nature is evident in everything he does; he loves life! When he’s not working, Daniel is off exploring, travelling (he’s visited over 25 countries and counting), rollerblading, playing volleyball and making new friends. And he would like to advise you that if you invite him to anything he will show up. You have been warned. His zest for life knows no bounds.

Arda Cholakyan

Arda Cholakyan

With a life motto of “you learn something new every day,” Arda is our Sales Team Manager who is ready for anything. She is currently adding to the new things she knows in her role for Christian Media outlet Eternity. As part of our dedicated sales team, Arda brings a genuine curiosity to how she can help people to make a difference in the world and give a voice to someone who doesn’t have one. As a passionate and driven person, she is up for any challenge and ready to tackle whatever life throws at her.
